Sepia Orchids : The photographs are from the Santa Barbara Orchid Show, March 2007. Orchids come in such a variety of brilliant colors, which is what seems to draw people to them. It occured to me that these blossoms also come in such an incredible variety of shapes and configurations. By removing the orchids' color, I have tried to concentrate solely on their form. I used sepia to add a bit of richness to the tone.
