Michael Friedman > A clear winter sky made a nice contrast with the colors of the church. I did saturate the colors a bit in Photoshop.

Michael Friedman > Snow on pine tree: It snowed my last day in Germany. First snow I'd seen in over twenty years.

Michael Friedman > Wilde der Stadt rooftops. A small town just outside Stuttgart. Birthplace of astronomer Johannes Kepler. My favorite shot from the Germany trip.

Michael Friedman > Wilde der Stadt street. The town is over five hundred years old, and the cars seemed really incongruous--not to mention the satellite dishes.

Michael Friedman > Trumpet Boys: Stuttgart Christmas market. The kid on the left was reading the music, but the one on the right spotted me just as I was taking the photograph, and blew a sour note.

Michael Friedman > German Sausage Stand: Stuttgart Chrismas Market. Take them home or have them cooked and served on the spot. I did neither, but I did get a halfway decent shot. The big screws looked like metal, but they were actually some kind of sausage.

Michael Friedman > Homeless Man in Stuttgart. It was as cold as it looks.

Michael Friedman > Children's Train Ride: Stuttgart Christmas Market. The background wasn't very interesting, so I used a radial blur filter to get this effect.
