Michael Friedman > Lathered Horse-Summerland Beach, Summerland, CA.
Michael Friedman > Street Singer-Santa Barbara, CA.

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. The "luck" in this case was where this guy was sitting, juxtaposed with the taped-up old Martin guitar--and, of course, the fact that I was there with a camera at just that moment.

Truthfully, it was an accident, and I didn't spot the goofy irony in this shot until I got it home.

I think of it as my "Album Cover."
Michael Friedman > Global Warming
Michael Friedman > Knapp's Castle Moon Fantasy: Composite of two photographs and Flood filter
Michael Friedman > Cancan Dancers-3-French Festival, Santa Barbara, CA. My favorite in the series and part of my exhibition at the Meisell Gallery in Santa Barbara.
Michael Friedman > Wild Boar-San Diego Zoo. Talk about Camouflage!

One of my favorite animal shots. This is completely unaltered, except for a bit of sharpening.

Michael Friedman > Parrot: Santa Barbara Zoo
Michael Friedman > Water Wheel

A composite of two photographs-- an antique weelbarrow and a store window. I then applied one of my favorite Photoshop plug-ins: Flood, by Flaming Pear.
